Overview An established and highly regarded specialist law firm is seeking a Solicitor or Associate to join its growing property and strata law practice. Based in Perth, this opportunity is ideal for a lawyer in the early stages of their career who wants to build deep expertise in a fast-evolving and specialised area of law. Prior exposure to strata or community titles law is not essential -- motivation, curiosity and a strong interest in property law are key. You will join a supportive, close-knit team led by an experienced practitioner widely respected in the field. You will work with a diverse range of clients including property developers, investors, strata stakeholders, and policyholders, contributing to a practice known for its innovation and commercial approach. This is a full-time position based in Perth, with a flexible, family-friendly culture and hybrid working options available following probation. Responsibilities Drafting and registering by-laws Leasing and general property law matters Commercial disputes, including construction, contract and property-related issues Debt recovery and enforcement Strata and community title disputes and advisory work Wills and estate matters, including drafting, advisory work and dispute assistance Drafting legal correspondence, court documents and clients advice Managing your own files and attending court hearings Briefing counsel and assisting with preparation of witness/expert evidence Preparing materials for interlocutory and final hearings Skills & Experience 2+ years PAE Exposure to property law and/or commercial litigation Familiarity with SAT and general State Court procedures Strong academic background Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and a team-focused mindset Whether you''re a new graduate or already gaining momentum in your legal career, this role offers a rare chance to develop specialist expertise in one of the most dynamic and fast-growing areas of law.
