We are looking for professional and high-performing security officers. The security team in these locations plays an important role in ensuring that the clientu2019s data integrity is always maintained. As the first point of contact for visitors and contractors entering the facility, the Security team at these locations needs to leave a lasting impression of exceptional customer service.For the casual role, shift timings may vary and availability for both day shifts and night shifts are preferred - ( 0600-1800 & 1800-0600) 12 -hour shifts.Location: Shenton Park, WA The Security Officer will be responsible for the following dutiesConduct security screening of all personnel entering and exiting a restricted areaMonitor facility alarms and security system Class 5 alarms, Security portal resets, Duress alarmsInvestigating and responding to alarms, first responders to the incident and emergency management including First AidManagement of keys/cards, Access Control System and Visitor Management SystemsIdentify prohibited items and prevent them from being introduced to or removed from a restricted areaProvide complete and accurate shift reports and task handover to Customer Service & Security SupervisorPhysical (on foot) and Virtual (on CCTV) patrols of assigned areas and report hazards and incidents Benefits And PerksCasual positions availableMust have AGSVA clearanceSSIA Level 4 ratesGrowth and career progression opportunitiesFull training and Uniform provided.Access to Securitas Regards Program offering discounts on 400 plus retailers Skills and ExperienceCandidates Must Meet The Following Job CriteriaHold a Valid Security License in respective State (Class 1A or equivalent)Excellent communication skills and observational skillsCustomer service experience is essential with strong multi-tasking abilitiesConflict resolution, negation skills and intermediate PC skills (MS Suite) requiredExceptional customer service standards, greet visitors, and employees and assist as requiredCompliance of all relevant company policies and proceduresProtection of premises occupants, protection of real and personal propertyReport writing and Site patrol duties and experience communicating via two-way radioMust be punctual, responsible and lead by example 2 support a safety and compliance culture Diversity and InclusionAt Securitas, we embrace diversity and are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all.
