Check out our LinkedIn Pages to find out more.Job DescriptionAbout the ROLEWe are seeking a Construction Material Tester and Technician to contribute and assist with the growth and reliability of our business, providing a high-quality service to both our internal and external clients.This position supports our Northern Operations team at Breadalbane. The role will primarily focus on field sampling and compressive testing of concrete, with soil and aggregate as a secondary role.Key duties will include but not limited to:Visiting internal and external client sites across industries to sample and collect varied construction materials (primarily plastic concrete)Conduct concrete compressive / flexural testingCleaning and maintenance of field sampling equipment and cylindersEnsure accurate, timely records and reportingRoutine quality assurance checks and calibrationsCollaborating and communicating with internal and external customersDesired Skills and ExperienceAbout YOUDo you have experience with concrete? Have you been a finisher/driver pumpy and are looking for a career change?A commitment to our Safety 1st Always Works frameworkStrong communication, paired with attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality.The ability to work independently and manage own timeCurrent unrestricted driver licence (manual). Regional travel is essential for the role and a Company pool vehicle will be provided.Capability of undertaking physical work, compliant with applicable PPE requirementsFlexible with working hours. QUALTECH typically operates a 40 hour week, Monday to Friday between 07:30 and 16:30 however some weekend, early/late starts and overnight work may be required from time to time.Tell us what works for you Full time, Part Time or Casual.
