Operations & Service Manager Commercial Flooring About Us CARPETS ONLINE is a well-established and highly regarded commercial flooring contractor, specialising in the supply and installation of a wide range of commercial flooring solutions across Western Australia. Our projects span multiple sectors and vary in size and complexity, requiring strong coordination, planning, and on-site engagement. About the Role This is a handson role suited to someone who understands how flooring projects work in the commercial construction and aged care industries. Youll be responsible for overseeing operations from planning through to installation and handover, working closely with installers, suppliers, and clients to support our Project Management team. While the role is officebased in Osborne Park, it requires regular site visits to manage projects effectively and support our teams on the ground. This position would be ideal for: Someone with commercial flooring industry experience and technical knowledge, or A former or current installer looking to move off the tools into a leadership and management role. Key Responsibilities Plan, assist with scheduling, and coordinate flooring projects from start to finish Manage installers, subcontractors, and labour allocation Liaise with clients, builders, and site managers where required Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality, safety, and timelines are met Manage materials and supplier deliveries to the warehouse and to site Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and think ahead to avoid delays Ensure works are delivered efficiently and to a high standard About You Experience in the commercial flooring industry (essential) Strong organisational and planning skills Ability to think ahead and problemsolve on the go Comfortable managing people, schedules, and multiple projects Confident communicating with clients and site personnel Willing to be both officebased and on site as required Previous installation experience is highly valued but not essential A preparedness to get in and help in a handson capacity as and when required Undertake minor works as and when the situation arises What We Offer A stable, longterm role with an established commercial contractor A mix of office and sitebased work no two days the same Opportunity to step into a senior role and grow with the business Supportive team environment with real responsibility and autonomy Competitive salary based on relevant experience How to Apply If you have experience in commercial flooring and are ready to take the next step into an operationsfocused role, wed love to hear from you.
