About The Role Zenith Energy has opportunities for a Power Station Operator Maintainer (PSOM), Electrical or Mechanical, to join our operations division. The full-time, permanent, Fly-In, Fly-Out (FIFO) roles have a 2/2-week even-time roster. Reporting to the Hybrid Power Station Manager, the PSOM is a hands-on operational and maintenance role. What You Will Be Doing Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance on power generation Operate and maintain reciprocating engines, control systems, and auxiliary plant. Perform fault finding, troubleshooting, and repairs. Verify work quality and compliance with relevant standards and legislation. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation. Support safe systems of work Raise and maintain work orders and purchase requests in the ERP system. Attend after-hours callouts while on site for breakdowns and urgent faults. Experience Minimum 3 - 5 years post-trade experience. Extensive experience in maintenance, fault diagnosis, and operational support across power generation, heavy industry, or similar complex systems. Extensive experience performing HV Switching operations (Electricians) Skills Sound understanding of WHS compliance Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently in remote environments. Adept in problem-solving issues and implementing solutions Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP systems (e.g. Pronto, Ellipse, SAP). Qualifications/ Certifications/ Licenses Recognised trade qualifications in either an electrical or mechanical discipline. WA Electrical license for electrical roles. Open class (not automatic restricted) WA drivers license.
