Salary commencing at $100,577 per annum + 12% superannuation.Lead a Large, Integrated Early Learning Service in Keilor EastThis is a standout opportunity for an accomplished Childcare Centre Coordinator / Centre Director / Early Years Leader to take the helm of Moonee Valley City Councils largest early learning centre. This role is for an experienced leader who is confident managing complexity, scale, and people, and who is ready to lead a high-performing service within a strong local government framework. You will oversee a large, multidisciplinary team and be supported by an experienced Early Years Regional Team Leader and a broader network of internal Council teams.The RoleAs Childcare Centre Coordinator, you will provide strategic, operational, and pedagogical leadership across the entire service, ensuring exceptional outcomes for children, families and staff.Your responsibilities will include:Leading and inspiring a large, established team across childcare and integrated kindergarten programsSetting clear expectations and building a strong culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvementEnsuring excellence and compliance across the National Quality Framework, Child Safe Standards, and all regulatory requirementsManaging centre operations at scale, including staffing, rosters, budgets, and resourcesPartnering with the Regional Team Leader on service planning, performance, and quality improvementDriving strategic initiatives, including School Readiness Funding projects and future-focused service developmentBuilding strong, respectful relationships with families, Council stakeholders, and external partnersThis role offers genuine influence, not just in day-to-day operations, but in shaping the direction and quality of one of Councils flagship early learning services.About YouYou are a confident, experienced early childhood leader with a proven ability to manage large, complex services and lead teams with clarity and purpose.
