This performance and the strength of the portfolio underpin the Companys purpose of growing long-term value for shareholders, our people, and our communities by mining safely and responsibly.Job DescriptionThe opportunityWe are currently looking for a Mechanical Supervisor (LV Workshop) to join the maintenance team at our Duketon operations.Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Mechanical Supervisor (LV Workshop) provides direct supervision of the activities of tradespersons / technicians (including contractors) and ancillary personnel, within the LV Workshop.This is a FIFO role, working on an 8:6 roster ex-Perth.The main responsibilities of this role include:Direct supervision of the activities of tradespersons / technicians (including contractors)Implement maintenance strategies that deliver the required equipment performanceEnsure fit for purpose reliability, maintenance and planning practices are in placeSupport the planning processes required to maintain and improve the reliability of the LV fleetResolve maintenance priorities in conformance with short-term and long-term production goalsPlan activities leading to continuous improvement of safety and productionUtilise condition monitoring and inspections to determine optimum equipment life cyclesEstablish and maintain strong links with key suppliers/vendors for engineering/technical supportDesired Skills and ExperienceAbout youTo be successful for this role, you will have:Tertiary qualifications in mechanical engineering or similar technical field; or an equivalent trade qualification with a demonstrated combination of training and experienceDemonstrated mining & resources experience in a leadership roleStrong analytical and problem solving skillsS26 exposure, certificate or ability to obtain certificateWhat we can offer:Collaborative work environment where your input mattersEmployee service awards and employee referral incentiveSupportive and highly experienced leadership teamWellbeing support for you and your family for personal and professional matters (EAP)Competitive salary with annual incentivesAs Regis Resources continues its evolution from mid-tier gold miner to a leading Australian gold producer, this is a unique opportunity to join Regis.
