Reporting to the Crushing and Haulage Manager the role focuses on maintaining a steady ore supply and minimising crusher downtime. Success depends on strong collaboration and alignment with company safety and operational standards. Supervise and manage daily road train and ROM operations across all shift phases, ensuring efficiency, safety, and alignment with KPIs and Nortons lean operational standards. Coordinate with contractors to maintain a continuous, safe, and cost-effective ore supply to the ROM, supporting crusher feed targets. Ensure the safe operation of the ROM pad and uninterrupted ore delivery to the crusher, proactively preventing downtime. Liaise daily with employees to enforce compliance with company policies and procedures, contributing to production targets and operational consistency. Support training plans by coaching and mentoring ROM operators to build skills, enhance engagement, and achieve team performance goals. Monitor and prevent crusher damage by ensuring no oversize or GET (Ground Engaging Tools) material is fed through. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE At least 5 yearsof previous experience in the Open Pit mining industry and 4 yearsin a leadership role. (Essential) Current, unrestricted Western Australian Class C Drivers Licence. (Essential) Valid statutory supervisor tickets are required. (Essential) Strong understanding of contractor management and confidence in cross-departmental communication. (Desirable) ROM experience preferred and relevant tertiary or TAFE qualifications. (Desirable) Strong commitment to safety and being a team player. BENEFITS Permanent full-time role with an immediate start. Excellent remuneration package with additional allowances.
