Position OverviewThe Program Support Coordinator will be based in Broome on a Full-time Fixed Term Contract to July 2026. You will play a pivotal role in advancing the implementation of robust clinical frameworks across KAMS Remote Health Centres. This position focuses on providing essential support to leadership teams and staff in integrating primary healthcare programs into daily clinical operations while ensuring compliance with relevant standards, policies, and funding requirements.The Coordinator will also contribute to enhancing health promotion activities and programs, ensuring they align with the KAMS Model of Care and the unique cultural needs of the communities served.Develop and implement policy frameworks for the integration of primary health programs into clinic operations.Collaborate with Remote Health Centre Managers to promote health initiatives and support staff training and program delivery.Lead data collection and reporting on program outcomes to relevant funding bodies.Maximise Medicare income through effective education and health campaigns.Ensure the integration of continuous quality improvement processes in line with accreditation standards.Assist in the implementation of Telehealth services across all Remote Health Centres.Identify funding opportunities and contribute to the development of funding bids.About Kimberley Aboriginal Medical ServicesKimberley Aboriginal Medical Services Ltd (KAMS) is the peak regional Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service (ACCHS) in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Since its establishment in 1986, KAMS has aimed to provide a unified voice for Aboriginal health and wellbeing, advocating for and delivering essential resources in collaboration with its Member Services.Governed by a Board of Directors comprised of Aboriginal health leaders, KAMS serves eight independent Aboriginal organisations, promoting the health and wellbeing of Kimberley Aboriginal people through a range of programs and services that align with the ACCHS Model of Care.Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will be an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong understanding of Aboriginal community-controlled health services and the KAMS Model of Care.
