We are currently seeking a self-motivated and skilled individual to join us.Do you have an interest in how the market effects goods and service contracts?Do you have a natural curiosity for what makes successful contracts and projects?Would you like to be involved in the development of some significant infrastructure contracts?The City of Swan is seeking an experienced Contract Management Officer to complement our professional team.Key Accountabilities include, but are not to be limited to;Assist the manager in the development of the Contracts framework and associated tools to deliver best practice in Contract ManagementProvide operational support and advice to priority projects on contract management, purchasing, and tendering, and supplier communications.Coach and provide specific guidance to stakeholders on the end-to-end practices of procurement and contracts management based on the City''s frameworkProvide the Contracts and Procurement team with professional services to contribute towards the achievement of its strategic and operational targets.Provide a customer service to stakeholders both internal and externalFor more information about the role please refer to the position description.About youThe successful candidate will have the following:Tertiary degree in a relevant area such as Commerce, Law or equivalent experienceCertificate or higher-level qualification in a contract management, project management discipline or willing to work towards such a qualification5+ years in a contract management role in a public sector or large multidiscipline organisationA satisfactory National Police Certificate is required.About working with usThe salary for this position will be from $94,386.53 to $112,499.22 per annum, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.You will also enjoy benefits includingFlexibility to balance work and life through supported work from home and a 19-day monthExcellent leave entitlements e.g. purchase additional leave, Local Government public holidayGenerous Superannuation contributions up to a total combined 17%Comprehensive employee wellness programGenerous study assistance (terms and conditions apply)Free parking options availableTravelsmart allowance to support public transport use or cycling to workAbout the CityThe City of Swan, located north east of Perth, is the largest local government by land size in the Perth metropolitan area, and has one of the fastest growing populations.The City covers an area of 1,042 square kilometres, equivalent to almost 20 per cent of the Perth metropolitan area.
