About the Role Reporting to the Head of Airport Planning & Development, the Planning Manager is responsible for the strategic planning and development of aeronautical infrastructure across Adelaide and Parafield Airports. Key responsibilities include: Leading the development and implementation of terminal, airfield and ground transport plans, ensuring alignment with forecast demand and capacity requirements Contributing to the development and approval of Airport Master Plans Developing aeronautical capital plans to support airline pricing agreements and commercial engagement Analysing passenger growth data and emerging industry trends to optimise aeronautical infrastructure planning Managing specialist consultants and internal teams to deliver high-quality planning and stakeholder outcomes Ensuring airport safeguarding provisions and compliance with regulatory requirements Providing technical guidance and optimisation advice ensuring current and future terminal and airfield infrastructure meet capacity needs Building strong relationships with airlines, stakeholders, and authorities to achieve strategic objectives This is a full-time role based at Adelaide Airport, offering an opportunity to influence major aeronautical infrastructure projects and contribute to the long-term vision of AAL. Youll also bring: A degree in Planning, Architecture, Engineering, Airport Management or Construction (or equivalent experience) 1015 years experience in engineering, development, construction, airport operations and/or planning Demonstrated ability of leading and delivering strategic infrastructure planning Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills Excellent communication and leadership capabilities High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project Management tools Experience in the aviation sector and understanding of airport operations and legislative requirements will be highly regarded.
