From digitising healthcare, to creating smarter cities and igniting our start-up industry, together we build trust in society and solve important problems.Trust and Risk bring this to life by helping clients to protect and strengthen every aspect of their business; from people to performance, systems to strategy and business plans to business resilience.As a Data Migration Manager in our Data Assurance team your impact will be seen by:Advising clients and providing hands-on assurance over data migrations on large projects (e.g. from legacy to cloud platforms)Designing and developing data mapping, testing & reconciliation frameworks and toolsDesigning and developing data profiling and quality monitoring processes and toolsSupporting clients with the continuous improvement of data quality by developing and implementing data quality remediation programs and solutionsProviding specialist advice to PwC clients and teams on best practices and innovative uses of data to solve problemsBeing able to work closely with non-technical stakeholders to explain and address technical risks and requirements in a clear business context.About youYou have a background in defining and leading large scale data migration and data-centric transformation projects and also bring the following:Experience with migration of large complex data sets using ETL tools (ideally 5+ years)Experience in migrating data for ERP systems, preferably SAP and/or Oracle.Experience in defining data migration strategies, requirements, data profiling & quality processes, and testing & reconciliation frameworksExperience with data engineering, data quality, data cleansing activitiesExperience of different delivery methodologies (agile, hybrid agile, waterfall) across the project lifecycle (planning, discovery, implementation, go-live).Technical SkillsData Engineering / ETL / Data Quality / Data Profiling skills with one or more leading integration tools (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP, Informatica, Talend, Experian)A strong background in coding, preferable experience with SQL, Python and/or RProject delivery toolset experience in one or more batch ETL tools (such as DataStage, Informatica, Microsoft SSIS or Azure Data Factory).Ideally, you''ll also haveExperience in engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersConsulting experience and background, including engaging directly with clientsManaging and developing high performing teamsExceptional communication, documentation and presentation skills.You are passionate about being at the forefront of change, you''re ready to help our Trust and Risk team support clients improve the quality of their critical data, and in assuring the accuracy and completeness of complex data migrations.You''re collaborative and enjoy working in an innovative environment.
