We are here for the long haul.We are currently seeking an experienced Field Service Plant Mechanic to join our team based in Revesby to conduct maintenance, servicing and repairs of Hitachi and Bell earthmoving and forestry equipment.As a key member of the team, you will need enthusiasm, motivation, good communication skills and dedication to providing outstanding customer service.Your main responsibilities will include:Diagnostic, repairs and maintenance of new and used equipment in accordance with manufacturer specificationsProvide support within the Sydney metro and regional areas as requiredAttend delivery handovers of new equipment to customer sitesAbility to work autonomously as well as within a team environmentCompletion and submission of all relevant paperwork and reportsProvide timely customer service while maintaining a clean and tidy work environment in line with the Company and customer standardsTo be successful in this role you must possess the following skills:Relevant Trade Qualification of "Heavy Diesel Mechanic"Proven experience working on earthmoving equipmentA MR License, "Working at heights" qualifications and an EWP License will be highly regardedAbility to navigate computer programs for diagnostics and troubleshooting.A strong safety focus with a sound understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principlesExcellent customer service and communication skills, with sound ability to meet requirements set by the company and Hitachi''s customersWillingness to be flexible with travel, and work outside of normal trading hours to meet customer requirementsBenefitsWe are offering:Permanent Full Time Position in a leading OEM with long term job securityCompetitive pay rate + potential overtime + 10% Metro allowance on all hours worked + company biannual bonuses $$$Exclusive staff discount on a range of goods and servicesOEM training and opportunities for upskilling with access to the latest technologiesSupportive mentors who value your input in finding new and improved ways to achieving successBe a part of a leading OEM which genuinely values and ensures everyone is happy and safe at workAt Hitachi, we value our people and work towards providing guidance on your career path towards a rewarding and successful experience.
