This role is ideal for a Retail or Corporate consultant looking for a change and opportunity to work with Australia''s leading Cruise package specialist - MyCruises.Our air consultants manages the air elements of our bookings bookings after the initial sale. You will be expected to coordinate airfares for pre-packaged bookings and using your air fare knowledge present the best options for our customers using some of the worlds well known airlines.Specific Duties: Coordinating airfares for pre-packaged cruise bookings Managing customers flight deviation requests Upsell cabins where required to premium economy, Business and First. Ensuring frequent flyer details/ baggage/meals and seating allocation requests are in place at the time of booking Ability to search and book complex itineraries(stopovers/surface sectors etc ) Understanding clients'' needs and requirements and offering the best itinerary within budget requirements Sound travel industry product and cruise destination knowledge (advantage) Deliver timely and accurate details to ensure a smooth after booking journey Completing administrative functions associated with the position in an accurate and timely manner Ensuring Company policy and procedure is followedKey Competencies: Time Management An ability to use a GDS productivity targets within allocated time Highly motivated, self-starter, organised Ability to work to deadlines and manage priorities Ability to work without supervision Innate ability to interpret customer demands and service proactively Attention to detail.
