About the OpportunityWe are currently seeking a Diploma Qualified Educator to join our team at Greystanes Uniting Church Child Care Centre.The successful applicants will be employed on a full time contract till December 2023Greystanes Uniting Church Child Care Centre, is a purpose-built long day care nestled in the grounds of Greystanes Uniting Church. Our warm and welcoming service operates during school terms and offers stimulating indoor and outdoor environments. Our programs have as a strong focus on inclusion and support for children with additional needs.What you''ll be doing in this roleAs a Diploma Qualified Educator, you''ll provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning frameworkYour care work may include:Contribute to the development of programs which reflect the approved learning framework.Developing positive and respectful relationships that support children, their families and community.Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children''s interest, strengths, and abilities.Documenting children''s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomesWho we''re looking forDiploma in Children Services (essential), with previous experience working at a Diploma Level in an early learning service.A work history that demonstrates recording observations, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.Understand the National Quality Framework and EYLFHave the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community membersYou''ll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting''s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.We''ll create a better future for youOur people are at the heart of everything we do, and we support them to grow and develop to be their best through our strong commitment to learning, flexibility, great benefits and a positive culture of teamwork and cooperation.
