About the OpportunityFor over 20 years, Uniting Kids Care Early Learning Springwood has supported families in our community with education and childcare, including a preschool program. We are open long hours for children from two to five years.This is a great opportunity for 2 casual Certificate III Qualified Educators to join the teamConveniently located near leafy Buttenshaw Park and in the spacious grounds of the Springwood Uniting Church, our service offers warm and welcoming indoor learning spaces and stimulating outdoor environments that are designed to inspire and engage.What you''ll be doing in this roleAs a Certificate III Qualified Educator, you''ll provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning frameworkYour work may include:Developing positive relationships that support children, their families and community.Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children''s interest, strengths, and abilities.Documenting children''s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomesWho we''re looking forMust have completed a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, with previous on the job experience (preferred)Be passionate about working with children of all ages.A work history that demonstrates, programming, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework (National Standard)Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community membersWe''ll create a better future for youOur people are at the heart of everything we do, and we support them to grow and develop to be their best through our strong commitment to learning, flexibility, great benefits and a positive culture of teamwork and cooperation.
