About the OpportunityThis permanent opportunity can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis (between 8am 5pm) and is located in TurramurraWe are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Diploma Qualified Educator to become a part of our diverse and supportive team at Turratots Early Learning in Turramurra.Educating children in the Nursery, you will embrace educational programs which focus on children''s independence to play, discover, and learn. You will have the ability to communicate the children''s educational experiences with parents daily. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for educating children aged 0-2 and who actively embraces professional development and training.At Turratots Early Learning we pride ourselves on being a longstanding and committed team of Educators that lead from the heart. Our team have grown and learnt together and we aim to continue this ethos through welcoming a new Diploma Qualified Room Leader that will bring their ideas and drive, to ensure we continue to thrive in our supportive community.What you''ll be doing in this roleAs a Diploma Qualified Room Leader, you''ll provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning frameworkYour care work may include:Development of programs which reflect the approved learning frameworkDeveloping positive and respectful relationships that support children, their families and community.Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children''s interest, strengths, and abilities.Documenting children''s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomesWho we''re looking forDiploma in Children Services (essential), with previous experience working at a Diploma Level in an early learning service.Experience in a Room Leader role (desirable)A work history that demonstrates recording observations, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.Understand the National Quality Framework and EYLFHave the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community membersYou''ll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting''s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.We''ll create a better future for youOur people are at the heart of everything we do, and we support them to grow and develop to be their best through our strong commitment to learning, flexibility, great benefits and a positive culture of teamwork and cooperation.
