The OpportunityWe are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Field Service team based in Somerton. Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic, repair and maintenance services to our customer''s equipment.Key responsibilities include:Providing onsite technical support on Hitachi equipment including diagnostics, repair and maintenanceProviding exceptional customer service to our customersEnsure your work sites are kept tidy and all paperwork is up to dateConducting your work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and proceduresTo be successful in the role, you will possess:Minimum Certificate III in a Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).Previous experience as a heavy diesel mechanicOEM equipment experience highly regardedCurrent driver''s licenseAbility to work autonomously and proactively solve technical issuesExcellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquetteAn uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and proceduresBenefits for youAt Hitachi, we are dedicated to supporting our people, rewarding successes and helping individuals grow.
