Description Full Time Veterinarian - Salisbury Vet Surgery Salisbury Vet Surgery is a practice located in southern Brisbane, around 15 minutes from Southbank or any easy 5 minutes to M3. Our clinic has a great community reputation with our dedicated team of vets and nurses committed to exceptional care for our clients and their pets. We''re a small team that takes care of each other so we can provide the best pet care.We operate with usually two vets per day, supported by at least 2 or 3 experienced nurses to optimise our pet wellness services.We have modern facilities with three consult rooms, a large waiting room with the option to separate patients, a sterile surgery suite, an open preparation area and dedicated x-ray and dental areas. We also have office space, staff facilities and plenty of coffee/lunch options.We have all the equipment to support best practice care, including IM3 Dental X-Ray System, brand-new Digital X-Ray Machine with dedicated x-ray table, Ultrasound and Inhouse IDEXX diagnostic machines.Visiting Ultrasonographer and Specialised Surgeon for those more difficult cases. What you''ll be doing day to day: As a Small Animal Veterinarian with us, no two days will look the same. You''ll enjoy a varied and rewarding caseload, including:Consulting with clients and providing high-quality care for their pets.Performing routine and complex surgeries, from desexing to soft tissue procedures.Using advanced diagnostic tools such as digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house lab equipment.Delivering preventive health care, including vaccinations, parasite control, and wellness checks.Educating and supporting pet owners, building strong and trusted client relationships.Working closely with a skilled nursing team and collaborating with experienced colleagues.Responding to emergencies with confidence and care when they arise.Maintaining accurate clinical records to ensure seamless continuity of care.This is a role where you''ll be supported to grow your skills, share your ideas, and make a real difference in the lives of pets and their families.
