You are specifically responsible for delighting the traveler/travel arranger, building commercial value, and strengthening the CWT brand in a way that balances the requirements of all stakeholders and positions our workforce as a key differentiator for our business.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:We are looking for a uniquely skilled, very experienced International Travel Counselor to support a high-touch client across Australia and New Zealand .Provide a full Domestic and International consulting service to clientsProcess and complete travel requirements as requested by corporate clients in accordance with their travel policy and relevant Service Level Agreement (SLA). This covers all aspects of travel including air, accommodation, car hire, etc.Offer value added alternatives and solutions in accordance with client and CWT directives.Provide and maintain an exceptional level of customer service.Complete all tasks assigned in accordance with CWT standard proceduresOffer value added alternatives and solutions in accordance with client and CWT directives.Perform in a pro-active manner displaying initiative and ownership with relevant and accurate information being given in a timely manner Proactively contribute towards monthly one on one sessions and yearly performance reviews Achieve Key Performance Indictors (KPI)Have the heart of the customer in every interaction Remain updated on all aspects of travel through regular attendance at product seminars/workshops including CWT Preferred Supplier sessions within the CWT office and at offsite supplier updates, and other job related training.Team work is an essential requirement of the role*LI-DJAExperience in the travel industry in a similar position or in a customer service centerProven ability to create international travel arrangements including air, hotel and ground transportation (at least 80% of transactions will be multi-segment, multi-destination international itineraries)Understanding and expertise in international travel requirements, i.e. visas, passports and immunization requirementsExcellent communication skills and follow through required to advise clients of those requirementsAbility to handle multi-cultural sometimes multi-lingual clienteleEnglish fluent: written and verbalSuperior written and verbal communication skills (in person and on phone)Customer focused and service orientedProblem solverResults-drivenAdaptable and motivated to learnInfluence and diplomacyProficiency in technology to research options and to complete process requirements*LI-DJA
