Due to rapid growth and expansion we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Garment Technician to join our Design & Production team while working across our entire range. This is a fast paced position working alongside another garment technician, garment tech assistant and closely with various teams within our business. Apply belowMeet The Team: CLICK HEREResponsibilitiesWorking closely with the Design and production team to transition from initial concepts through to final sample, reporting directly into the Design and production ManagerCreating initial Tech Packs in conjunction with design for sample development Measuring garments and commenting on manufacturing finishes for all samplingConduct fit meetings and communication of comments to off-shore factoriesLiaising daily with suppliers in China in regards to re-fits, fabrics, finishes and gradingConstant communication with Production team to keep on track with timelines and critical pathsRequirementsMinimum 5+ years'' experience in a similar role ideally within the fast fashion industry Tertiary education in Design, Pattern making and Grading is essential A genuine awareness of trends and the ability to incorporate this into fit sessions Strong industry leading software and technology skills (e.g. Excel, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and the Adobe Creative Suite); Experience in Pattern making, and Grading is essential Tech pack and garment spec knowledge is essential Experience working across a variety of categories is essential In-depth knowledge and experience in fabric testing, textile properties and quality assurance Strong communication skills Strong organisational skills to adhere to critical path deadlines Ability to work in a fast paced environment BenefitsRosebery location, walking distance Green Square train station Stunning offices including onsite gym & kitchen stocked with lots of goodies Weekly onsite Yoga Monthly clothing allowance + ongoing clothing discounts Fun events throughout the year Employee Assistance Program
