In this physical role, you will proactively move around the resort undertaking various general maintenance tasks and repairs to keep the resort property in great condition, which includes our cabins, caravan & camping sites, property grounds, pool, children''s playground, camp kitchen, laundry facilities and more.This could be just the right role for you?As a Handyperson, your key responsibilities include:Carry out general day to day property & building maintenance & repairs, painting, pool maintenance, general plumbing/drainage, water system, air-conditioning split systems maintenance, gardening & landscaping, planting, mowing & general cleaningOperating the tractor to move caravans on/off site & through the resort, drive company vehicles and truck (under 12 tonne)Use tools, equipment and maintain OHS standards adhering to policies and proceduresMaintain a clean and tidy work spaceThis role is casual, with flexibility required to work weekdays, weekends & public holidays. Start & finish times may vary, depending on the business needs.We are offeringCasual 3+ shifts week + penalties + superExclusive employee benefitsFriendly & supportive workplace cultureWhat you''ll need to be successfulPrevious experience and knowledge in a Maintenance/Groundsperson role in a resort, or similar environmentDrivers Licence, LR or MR truck licenceTractor operation and towing experience, desirablePool maintenance, landscaping, gardening, irrigation knowledge & skills, highly desirableStrong communication, time management, attention to detail and problem solving skillsCompetent computer skills including MS Office, email, record keeping, reporting is requiredAbility to work well in a team or independently, performing active physical duties, including heavy lifting up to 20kgsA positive attitude & approach to work, enthusiastic, flexible/adaptable & excellent personal presentationFull working rights in AustraliaThe RACV differenceBe part of a team who cares.
