We aim to provide a responsive and comprehensive specialist and emergency service to veterinarians, their clients and their pets.Position SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our Internal Medicine team, working alongside three Internal Medicine Specialists and four Specialist Nurses. This role offers a dynamic and supportive environment with ongoing training, a comprehensive orientation and opportunities for professional growth.Preferred Qualifications and ExperienceThe ideal candidate will possess the following:Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing3 - 4 years of experience, ideally within a specialist/referral practiceA strong interest in Small Animal Internal MedicineFoundational knowledge of medical conditions and diseasesProficiency in anaesthetic monitoringWillingness to assist with chemotherapy administration, CT scans, and MRI procedures (training provided)Excellent animal handling and restraint skillsConfidence in client communication, including discussing patient conditions, discussing costs/estimates, and anaesthetic risksCommitment to delivering high-quality patient careFamiliarity with RxWorks and Smart Flow (highly regarded, but not essential)Why Join Us?This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled nurse to further develop their expertise in a collaborative and stimulating environment.
