Our network is growing across Caboolture, Morayfield, Strathpine, Deception Bay, and Margate now there''s an opportunity for you to be part of a great team making a real difference in people''s lives.About the roleThe Clinic Nurse provides culturally safe, high-quality primary health care in an Urban Indigenous Health service. Working closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, families and communities, the role focuses on respectful, strengths-based care that supports the health and wellbeing of the community.As part of a multidisciplinary team, the Clinic Nurse undertakes clinical assessments, triage, treatment and follow-up care across all age groups. The role includes supporting people with chronic conditions, assisting with care planning, administering vaccinations and medications, coordinating referrals, and responding to urgent or acute health needs. The Clinic Nurse also contributes to health promotion, early intervention and preventive programs that reflect community priorities.The role involves maintaining accurate clinical records, following evidence-based practice and supporting quality improvement across the service.
