As the first point of contact for the Head of School, the role requires strong administrative capability, exceptional organisation, professionalism, tact and diplomacy.A key focus of the role is the ability to triage, manage and prioritise matters brought to the Head of School, ensuring effective communication, timely response and smooth coordination across a wide network of internal and external stakeholders. the role also supports small project activities, coordinating project documentation, deadlines and deliverables, and contributes to the operational effectiveness of the wider school administration.Your key responsibilities will be to:provide broad, high level professional executive support to the Head of School and manage daily office operations and administrative activityprovide diary management for the Head of Schoolprovide professional executive support and administration services with highly proficient coordination and execution of tasksdraft and review correspondence and ensure meeting papers are collated and available in good time, with appropriate logistical arrangementsdevelop and maintain relationships with senior administrators, heads of school and academic staff, escalating issues where requireddevelop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, ensuring confidentiality and quality of communicationprovide project officer support for school projects, including gathering and preparing project data, analysis and reportingundertake ad-hoc projects and activities relevant to the role as required.About youexcellent time and workload management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesexcellent administrative, problem solving and analytical skills, with an understanding of project life cycles, documentation and monitoringexcellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience handling a wide range of enquiries and providing excellent customer service.ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and sound judgementstrong negotiation, relationship-building and influencing skillsadvanced computer skills, including strong Microsoft Office capability and extensive diary management experiencetertiary qualifications in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of training and experienceSponsorship / work rights for AustraliaWork Rights: you must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
