Reporting to the Supervisor Training, you will deliver training, assessment, and competency-based activities to ensure our team members have the knowledge and skills required to operate equipment and perform tasks safely and effectively in their designated work areas. Your strong background in process plant operations will enable you to provide practical, relevant training that supports operational excellence and fosters a safe, capable workforce.This position will be offered as a part-time job sharearrangement, working an8-days on, 20 days off roster.Duties:Deliver training modules to operators, maintainers, and contractors, both in the classroom and on the jobConduct competency-based training, assessments, and Verification of Competency (VOC) activities in line with company proceduresReview and update Role to Competency profiles within SuccessFactors in collaboration with supervisorsSupport and mentor On the Job Trainers (OJTs) and Assessors (OJAs) to maintain high training standardsDevelop, review, and maintain training documentation, procedures, and manualsEnsure accurate training records are maintained and compliant with document control processesApply practical process plant operations experience to deliver effective, safe, and relevant training across the Roy Hill MineSkills and ExperienceMinimum 5 years'' experience in process plant operations and operating small mobile equipment within the mining industryProven knowledge and application of Isolation and Permit to Work systems, and experience training contractors in shutdown environmentsStrong understanding of Training Governance Management Frameworks and Learning Management Systems, particularly SuccessFactorsCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or working towardsWell-developed communication, stakeholder engagement, mentoring, and coaching skills, with the ability to collaborate across the businessHigh level of organisational and time management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesPositive, adaptable attitude with a commitment to safety, quality training delivery, and supporting operational excellenceOpen "C" Class Manual Licence or aboveMine FacilitiesModern, comfortable camp accommodationHigh quality gourmet food options (vegan, gluten free and healthy options)Large fully equipped gym facility, as well as a gym specifically for femalesHeated outdoor swimming poolBeach Volleyball court and Golf simulatorsVillage shop and extensive supporting amenitiesSWIFT in-room entertainment with comprehensive content and own-device casting capabilityActive social club with community events and activities for employeesLifestyle, Learning and Recreation initiative which provide events for your familyAbout Hancock Iron OreThe world of iron ore is evolving, and so are we.Atlas Iron and Roy Hill have joined forces to become Hancock Iron Ore, building on our combined strengths of resilience and innovation.Our portfolio of world-class iron ore operations located in West Australia''s Pilbara region has a strong history of delivering reliable products for our customers in key international markets.
