Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Project Engineer to join our team. Project Engineers at FSC work on infrastructure projects for various clients in the road, rail, tunnelling, utilities and associated sectors.As a Project Engineer you will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from project conception to completion.You will work with our clients and other FSC team members to plan, deliver and hand over projects throughout South Australia.ResponsibilitiesIn general, your responsibilities would include the following:PrepareandimplementConstruction Method Statements, including stagingandconstructionmethodology. Monitoring key constructionsafety and qualityrequirements and implementing prompt corrective action if required, to ensure they are achieved in line with agreed specifications Manage a team of Junior Engineers Procureand managesubcontractsincluding monthly claim processin accordance withdelegatedauthority Managing temporary works designsand ensuring all relevant approvals are obtainedand prepare temporary works design briefs Oversee procurement of materials andtesting Lead project coordination efforts, ensuringtimelyandaccurateproject deliveryContribute to project planning, resource allocation, and scheduling.Manage project costs, end of monthreports,and providecost forecasts for the managed worksDevelop andmaintainrelationships with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholdersYou will be a motivated and proactive engineer with the right combination of energy and a commitment to learning.
