Desert City are looking for full time, experienced Camp Managers & Camp Chefs to join our team.Multiple Positions AvailableUpcoming ContractsFull time FIFO work in some of the most remote, raw and beautiful parts of AustraliaWe offer the best roster in FIFO and pay over Award rates that we think are the most competitive in the industry.We are looking for passionate, energetic people, hiring out of Brisbane and Toowoomba for full time, ongoing work.Our Chefs create great menus and share their personal flair with our customers. We pay above award All meals and accommodation are provided whilst on hitch An equal time roster, 3 on 3 off Excellent accommodation on site and transport to site Uniforms provided Flights provided (from point of hire)We are a young, growing company and as we grow, we expect our people to grow in their roles with us.Inductions and certificates that will make your application stand out include:All candidates (required): A national police clearance (dated within 6 months)(or willing to obtain) Full Manual Australian driver license Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain)Chefs and Chef Manager: Chef qualifications (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher or equivalent)Highly desirable qualifications/experience: Oil and Gas Industry Safety Induction (ISI or DCGI) (or willing to obtain) Current 4WD certificates (PMASUP236 or RIIVEH305F) (or willing to obtain) Previous experience working in remote environmentsAs the Camp Manager you will be responsible for: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the camp Lead the Desert City team on site Liaising directly with the client on site and planning and adapting as required Listening to customers and altering menus to the feedback Preparing great meals Lunches & Dinners Making bread, desserts and cakes as required Ensuring all company and client''s KPI''s are met Owning responsibility for your own safety and those around youAs the Camp Chef you will be responsible for: General kitchen duties Supporting the Chef Manager Listening to customers and adapting service to the feedback Preparing breakfasts and other meals; including dine in and take away Making bread, desserts and cakes from scratch Driving between locations in the field You may support the Camp Attendant with cleaning if required Owning responsibility for your own safety and those around youAs the Camp Attendant, you will be responsible for:Keeping all accommodation, offices, bathrooms and other areas hygienic, clean and tidyLaundry servicesDriving between locations in the field using manual 4WDAssisting in the kitchen operations with food service and cleaningLiaising with the supervisor to undertake other duties around the campSupporting other team members with inductions and on the job trainingProviding professional and approachable level of customer serviceListening to feedback and owning a customer''s satisfactionWorking with energy, passion and careWe believe in hiring the best people and letting them share their experience and passion.
