Whether you are designing bold new systems, supporting educators, analysing data, or delivering programs that make learning more meaningful, your work will leave a lasting legacy.What You''ll Be Doing1. Document and conduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigationstrategies that minimize the likelihood and impact of cyber incidents.2. Promote a culture of continuous improvement in cyber security, regularly reviewing and enhancing cyber governance frameworks, risk management strategies and compliance measures.3. Focus on up lifting the SACE Board''s overall cyber security posture through raising awareness of cyber security with staff and management and supporting the development of an ongoing Cyber Security Plan4. Collaborating with a team of talented, values-led professionals who genuinely care about each other and their workWhat We''re Looking ForA curious mind and a growth mindsetRelevant experience or qualifications in cyber security risk management and mitigation principles, standards and tools for identifying and mitigating security threats within a large, geographically dispersed and complex organisation, along with detailed knowledge of related government policies and procedures.A passion for making education better and fairerExtensive knowledge and experience in implementing industry governance frameworks (e.g., SACSF, Essential 8, NIST, ISM) into the cyber operations of the SACE Board, aligning with business objectives.We value diversity, innovation, and heart.
