Job Description About the RoleJoin TOMRA''s mission to transform recycling through smart technology. As an Electrical Field Technician, you''ll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing our pioneering Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) and bulk processing equipment across Sydney''s South East/ South West Metro areas.This hands-on role focuses on conveyors, sensors, motors, mobile communications, and other electromechanical systems.You''ll be on the road daily, so a clean driving record and a passion for travel are essential.This is a highly autonomous position ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and takes initiative. The role operates on a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends.Background checks for this role include a driver history report, police check, references and pre-employment medical including drug an alcohol testing.Key responsibilities include:Servicing and maintaining installed equipmentReporting on service assignments and faultsInstalling kiosks and bulk processing systems at new sitesProviding excellent customer service to partners and the publicIdentifying and reporting product improvement opportunitiesPerforming routine cleaning and upkeep of equipment Qualifications To succeed in this role, you''ll bring:Certificate III in Electrical/Electronic Trade, Disconnect-Reconnect, or relevant mechanical/electrical experienceExperience with operating systems, software installation, networking, and mobile telecommunicationsStrong diagnostic and analytical skills across mechanical, electrical, and electronic systemsProven ability to troubleshoot and replace circuit boards, sensors, and electronic componentsPrevious customer-facing experienceUnrestricted driver''s license and willingness to provide a full driving historyAvailability to work across a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends and overnight travel Additional Information What''s in it for you?Be part of a purpose-driven organisation making a real impact on sustainability.Work with passionate, collaborative teams in a supportive environment.Be a part of doing great things for the planet and communitiesDoes this sound like you?
