With strong ongoing work and continued investment in our facilities, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing modular construction team based in Rutherford NSW.About the RoleWe are seeking skilled and motivated Modular Electricians to join our Rutherford workshop. Reporting to the Modular Construction Coordinator, you will be responsible for the electrical installation, wiring, fit out, testing, and pre commissioning of prefabricated switchrooms, modular skids, and transportable units.This is a full time permanent position, based in Rutherford, with occasional support on customer sites as required.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:Install, wire, and terminate electrical systems in modular switchrooms, skids, and prefabricated enclosuresInterpret electrical schematics, drawings, and scopes of workCarry out testing, fault finding, and pre commissioning prior to deliveryWork collaboratively with fabrication and carpentry teams to sequence tasks efficientlyEnsure all electrical work complies with AS3000, AS4871, and relevant standardsMaintain tools, test equipment, and machineryComplete service sheets, progress reports, and required documentationSupport logistics, inspections, and client handover activitiesFollow WHS procedures, SWMS, and risk assessments at all timesAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:A relevant electrical trade qualificationA current NSW Electrical Licence or equivalentA current Driver LicenceExperience in electrical installation and fit out, ideally within modular, construction, or industrial environmentsStrong knowledge of AS3000 and AS4871The ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematicsStrong fault finding and problem solving skillsGood communication skills and the ability to work across multiple tradesA strong safety and quality focusForklift, EWP, or confined space tickets are highly regarded but not essential.What NEPEAN Modular Can OfferA modern workshop environment with strong safety standardsStable full time employment with a growing Australian manufacturerSupportive team culture and strong cross trade collaborationCareer development and ongoing training opportunitiesAccess to our Employee Assistance ProgramIf you are an electrician looking to move into modular construction or expand your skills in a specialised environment, we encourage you to apply.Click Apply Now to submit your application.NEPEAN Modular is committed to diversity and equal employment opportunity.
