Endacom Pty Limited was created in 2005 and has grown exponentially in to an established market leader in the tunnel and civil construction industry. We are seeking a FIFO Carpenter to join our team.Key ResponsibilitiesFormwork Assembly and Installation: Constructing and install temporary form for tunnel blinding, slabs, tunnel linings, headstocks, and other concrete structures using timber, plywood, steel, or advanced systems like Doka and Peri.Drawings Interpretation: Read and analyse technical drawings to ensure formwork meets exact dimensions and load-bearing requirements for structural integrity.Reinforcement Integration: Assist in placing and securing steel reinforcement bars (rebars) within the forms prior to pouring concrete.Concrete Support: Ensure forms are securely braced and aligned to prevent leaks or deformations during the high-pressure pouring process.Stripping and Maintenance: Carefully dismantle and clean formwork once concrete has reached the required strength, ensuring components are preserved for reuse.Work closely with client engineers, surveyors, geologists, and QA teams to ensure accurate and timely submission of QA documentation.Foster a culture of safety, ensuring all activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.Industry ExperienceMinimum of 35 years of civil or formwork experience, with specific underground or tunnel experience often preferred for FIFO roles.Essential TicketsConstruction White Card for site entry.Working at HeightsFIFO ComplianceAbility to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening, and maintain a valid driver''s license.Job Type: Full-timePay: $50.00 $55.00 per hourExpected hours: No more than 80.5 per weekBenefits:Free drinksFree foodHousing providedProfessional development assistanceSalary packagingTravel reimbursementWork Location: In person
