ABOUT USThe Bleacher Athletic team has supplied on-field kits for the Geelong Football Club, as well as all AFLW clubs since the competitions inception 8 years ago. We also work with the NRL on supporter wear for every club.We are now also proud partners of Adidas, bringing to life all licensed product for their local partnerships across AFL, NRL and Netball.We also design and develop the Upstate Sport brand, focusing on women''s performance and streetwear inspired co-ordinates.We stand for diversity, empowering people of all backgrounds to express their individual style and make their mark on the world.ABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our Bleacher Athletic team as a Product Developer Assistant, supporting product development across on-field product for AFL, AFLW and NRL under Adidas brands. As the pivotal link between the buyer and the supplier, you will be responsible for sending accurate information clearly and concisely to internal and external stakeholders and ensuring Production is completed in a timely manner. Your key areas of focus will be style production, managing production and shipping schedules, approving lab dips, trims, strikes offs and bulk fabrics, garment measurements and fittings, sample coordination and technical drawings for our products. If you are someone who loves developing ethical products that make a difference to the lives of others, then this could be your new role.SKILLS & EXPERIENCEGraduate degree / qualification in relevant field i.e. Fashion, Textiles, ProductionBasic knowledge of product specifications, garment construction and measurement, composition, fabrics and fiber knowledge.Understanding of Cut and Sew construction and fabrication is highly regardedProficient capabilities in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Illustrator.A high level of accuracy and attention to detail together with ability to multi-task and prioritise to meet deadlinesOUR CULTUREWe love big ideas and rolling up our sleeves to get the job done.
