Your role at St John of God Midland Public and Private HospitalSt John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Personal Assistant to support two senior leaders on our Hospital Management Committee the Director of Corporate Services and the Director of Medical Services.This is a key position within the hospital, where your exceptional administrative skills and calm, confident communication will contribute to the smooth and effective running of our services. A core aspect of the role involves expert minute-taking, particularly for Clinical and Third-Party Contract meetings, so strong, proven experience in this area is essential.In this role, you will provide high-level personal assistance and administrative support through tasks such as:Managing diaries, appointments, and scheduling for the Directors.Handling and prioritising incoming correspondence, emails, and phone calls.Preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items, particularly for governance and clinical committee meetings.Drafting professional correspondence, reports, memos, and other documents.Coordinating travel, accommodation, and other logistics.Monthly reconciliation of corporate credit cards.Managing and supporting the Excluded Procedures process.Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.Identifying and implementing improvements to administrative systems and processes.Being adaptable to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.You will have proven experience in minute-taking, document management, and providing high-level administrative support. Your strong interpersonal and written communication skills will enable you to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels. You are proactive, able to work independently, and thrive in environments that require adaptability and attention to detail. Experience supporting senior leaders within a complex organisation will be highly regarded.To succeed in this role, you will bring a Certificate in Secretarial Studies or have equivalent practical experience, along with advanced Microsoft Office skills and the ability to type quickly and accurately (65+ words per minute).At St John of God Midland Public & Private Hospitals, you''ll be part of a supportive, values-driven team that puts people first both caregivers and the community we serve.
