We provide excellent care to our local families for 34-week inborn babies and 32-week babies from other centres transferring closer to home. Level 3 capability enables many interventions for our vulnerable patient group including CPAP and High Flow, extended peripheral lines for prolonged antibiotic therapy, and Family Centred Developmental Care. Our well-established multidisciplinary team enables the support of Newborn HITH and Home Enteral Nutrition to be offered to our families on discharge. The Neonatal Unit is an integral part of the Eastern Health Women & Children''s program, and we work closely with our Maternity colleagues across both Angliss and Box Hill sites.About youTo be successful in this role you will possess:Relevant experience in NICU or higher level SCNCurrent registration with AHPRAAvailability to work a rotating rosterPost Graduate qualifications in Neonatal Care (desirable)Competent Advanced Neonatal ResuscitationHighly developed interpersonal and leadership experienceA strong commitment to high quality careThe ability to work as part of a diverse teamExcellent communication and organisational skillsHealthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in theAustralian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice).
