Geraldton, Gascoyne & Midwest WACommunity Development (Community Services & Development)Full timeAbout Us:Desert Blue Connect is a leading not-for-profit community organisation in Geraldton, Western Australia that offers specialist family violence response, emergency accommodation, primary prevention of family violence, rural support services and women''s health.We offer a range of services across the Midwest for women, men and children.We are committed to supporting communities and people by providing quality service delivery, advocacy and prevention initiatives.The Role:The Community Initiative team engages, educates and supports different sectors of the Geraldton community, particularly with relation to Women''s Health and Family/Domestic Violence. This role will facilitate support groups for young mums, educate and assist young people navigating the transition to adulthood and help to promote Women''s Health at multiple events and forums.
