Sydney PTE Academy is a leading education provider focused exclusively on PTE Academic exam preparation. We work primarily with international students from South Asia, Southeast Asia, South America, and Europe, delivering structured, results-driven coaching in small groups.Due to growing demand, we are looking for a casual PTE English tutor to join our team.This role is ideal for a university student, graduate, or experienced tutor looking for flexible hours and additional income.About the roleCasual positionApproximately 15 to 30 hours per month initiallyMost classes run on weekendsHourly rate will be discussed during the interview process and depends on experience, performance, and availabilityWho we are looking forWe are open to both newly qualified and experienced English tutors who are committed to student outcomes and continuous improvement.You will be someone who:Has a proactive and responsible attitudeCommunicates clearly and confidentlyIs patient, engaging, and approachable with studentsIs motivated to learn and develop professionallyCan deliver structured, engaging lessonsAll academic English teaching experience is considered. Experience with PTE, IELTS, ESL, or senior high school English is welcomed but not required.If you are not a native English speaker, a PTE score of 90 in each band is required.Formal teaching qualifications are valued but not essential if you demonstrate strong presentation skills and a clear teaching style.TrainingSuccessful candidates will receive training in PTE Academic, so please apply even if you do not have all requirements. We do not expect a native speaker to be familiar with this test.
