We''re a small business based in Lane Cove dedicated to providing high quality personalised pet care. I''m looking for an individual passionate about the outdoors, dogs and pet care to join my team as a professional dog walker.It''s a casual/part time role 1-2 days/week starting 8am - 4pm (times vary). There is also the potential for additional days in the future + house sitting and visits. Most days we run four walks, pickup starting at 8am for the first walk and final drop ending around 4pm. There is also some flexibility around hours and days available and whether you''d like to work a full or half day. Though, it is preferred you do the same days each week so you work with the same dogs. The ideal candidate is hoping to to stay in the position for at least 1 year+.The role involves walking a group of 4 dogs off-leash at a time at a local dog park or beach. You''ll need to be comfortable walking dogs of all sizes from pugs to standard poodles and you must be fit, energetic and injury free.You''ll be driving dogs to and from their homes in Lane Cove so it''s important that you''re a confident driver as you spend up a significant portion of the day picking up and dropping off dogs. A car will be provided for you, however, if you have your own that would be suitable for dog transportation that would be preferred and a vehicle allowance will be provided. You''ll also need a police check and references.This role would suit a friendly, reliable, dog lover who enjoys taking initiative and working independently.
