Part time (0.8 FTE) fixed term until 30th June 2027Opportunity to lead high-impact international and local research projectsBase Salary $146,197 - $154, % superannuation Pro-rata to 0.8FTE (28 hours per week)About the opportunityAs the Research Program Manager, you will coordinate the U21 Nature Positive Coalition, a major international initiative focused on sustainability and biodiversity, alongside other strategic research projects. You will manage project organisation, define roles and responsibilities, and ensure effective delivery within agreed timeframes and budgets.Working closely with academic leaders and external stakeholders, you will drive global collaboration and support policy reform initiatives.Your key responsibilities will be to:manage overall organisation of research projects, including defining roles, responsibilities, and milestoneslead the development and communication of the U21 project charter to ensure clarity of objectives and deliverablesestablish and implement project management methodologies, processes, and templatesdesign project processes and governance structures for the U21 international project and local research initiativesdevelop and implement detailed project plans, including timelines and milestonesprovide leadership to project teams, including workload allocation, supervision, and trainingmanage project financials, including budget allocation and monitoring expenditureundertake other duties and projects appropriate within the classification level as requiredAbout youpostgraduate qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experienceextensive experience in managing strategic projects, ideally in policy reform or higher education contextsproven ability to manage budgets and financial reportingexperience engaging multiple internal and external stakeholdersstrong skills in planning, organisation, and project deliveryproficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management toolsexcellent communication and decision-making skills.To keep our community safe, please be aware of our COVID safety precautions which form our conditions of entry for all staff, students and visitors coming to campus.Work RightsYou must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
