Market leading construction contractor with multi state presenceFlexible workingFree parkingMaintain accurate financial records, ensuring timely payments and collections, and supporting the broader finance team with day-to-day transactional accounting.Work closely with theAccounts Payable and Receivable Leads and theOperations team, to ensure financial processes align with business activities and support smooth operational execution.ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable:Integrate processes with the financial system, policies and proceduresProcess supplier invoices and ensure timely and accurate paymentsReconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepanciesAssist with month-end closing activities related to payablesAccounts Receivable:Generate and issue customer invoices in accordance with contractual terms.Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding payments.Reconcile customer accounts and manage credit notes or adjustments.Liaise with internal teams and customers to resolve billing issues.Work closely with AR Lead for Group to ensure timely collectionsABOUT YOUThis role would suit someone with previous experience as a finance officer, accounts all rounder, assistant accountant or bookkeeper.2+ years of experience in accounts payable/receivable or general accountingAccurate data entry skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team, building positive stakeholder relationshipsIntermediate level experience in MS OfficeTeam player with sound verbal and written communication skillsSelf-starter with a can-do proactive attitudePolice ClearanceDesirable SkillsJD Edwards (Oracle based system) experienceOther ERP experienceAccounting qualification such as CPATHE BENEFITS Ongoing rewards & recognition programsAccess to everyday discounts from Australia''s leading retailers with FlarePaid parental leaveEmployee referral programs up to $2000Salary sacrifice optionsEmployee Assistance ProgramNovated lease optionsFirst Aid and Mental First Aid Support OfficersSubmit your resume today and start a conversation with one of our recruiters.
