Our Volunteer Manager has oversight of this scheme and is responsible for its implementation, as well as leading a team of Volunteer Coordinators who recruit, train and support our Volunteers.Day to day this role looks like:Ensuring quality oversight and implementation of Aged Care Volunteer Visitors SchemeApplying for and administering Government fundingCompleting bi-monthly and biannual reportsEnsuring compliance with ACVVS program guidelines for volunteer recruitment, induction, training and retentionRecruiting new team members within approved budgetary headcount, conducting interviews and making selection decisionsProviding regular coaching and feedback for all employees, including defining KPIs, conducting both informal and formal performance reviewsFostering a learning environment, providing development opportunities for employees and ensuring 100% completion of mandatory training,Coordinating training for team members including orientation for new employees, on the job coaching and safety trainingEnsuring volunteer compliance with all Catholic Healthcare policies and procedures and Aged Care legislative requirementsEnsuring compliance with Australian Volunteer StandardsClosely following all safety policies and procedures, being vigilant for risk and promptly reporting all hazardsTo be successful for the role you will have:Relevant Tertiary qualifications (desirable but not essential)Experience managing a remote teamExperience working with volunteers/groups or teamsA current NDIS Worker Check and/or willingness to get oneCompassion, honesty and flexibilityExperience in the Aged Care and/or Community Services sector.Current driver''s license and own vehicleEffective written and oral communication skills when dealing with volunteers, clients and staffWe know you have many choices of employer - choose Catholic Healthcare where you can make a positive impact and be well rewarded.Apply online nowCatholic Healthcare acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we live, work and dream.
