About the roleWe''re looking for a Senior Data Reporting Analyst to join our Group Customer & Strategy division. In this role, you''ll transform data into insightbuilding the reports, dashboards, and governance frameworks that drive smarter decisions across the business.You''ll work closely with stakeholders to understand what they need, then deliver reporting solutions that are clear, actionable, and built to last. You''ll also play a key role in embedding our Data Governance Framework, ensuring data quality and consistency across the division.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and refine performance metrics and dashboards that give leadership a clear view of divisional and marketing performanceTranslate business requirements into well-designed reports using tools like Power BI and DatabricksAnalyse data to uncover trends and insights, then communicate findings in ways that resonate with non-technical audiencesImplement and maintain data governance practices, including data catalogues, quality rules, and compliance reportingCollaborate across teams to resolve data quality issues and ensure consistency through master and reference dataWhat you''ll bringTertiary qualifications in computer science, information systems, data management, actuarial studies, or a related fieldStrong experience with data reporting, visualisation (Power BI), and database concepts (including Databricks)Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as CPG235, CPS230, CPS234, and the Privacy ActSharp analytical skills and meticulous attention to detailThe ability to explain complex concepts simply and build strong relationships across teamsA pragmatic, collaborative approach with the drive to see things throughAbout AvantFor over 130 years, Avant has stood by Australian medical professionals.
