The RoleAs an Associate in our Financial Lines team, you''ll be supporting clients on complex coverage issues and highstakes litigation. This role spans Directors & Officers (D&O), Professional Indemnity (PI), and Financial Institutions (FI) matters. You''ll help insurers and insureds navigate evolving risks, regulatory investigations, and disputes - bringing pragmatic, commercial advice to every matter. What You''ll Do: Advise on coverage and claims strategy for D&O, PI, and FI policies, including complex disputes and multijurisdictional matters.Defend directors and professionals in shareholder oppression claims, notforprofit disputes, and PI claims involving diverse professions.Work closely with insurers, brokers, and insureds, leveraging strong market relationships to resolve coverage disputes and underlying litigation.Assist with investigations and litigation management, including pleadings, discovery, and briefing counsel.Contribute to a team culture that values commerciality, collaboration, and clientfocused solutions.What We''re Looking For: An Associate with experience in insurance litigation - ideally in D&O, PI, or FI.Excellent analytical and drafting skills.Strong client management skills, with a track record of building relationships with insurers and claims managers.A pragmatic, commercial approach to problemsolving and strategy.Curiosity about the evolving financial lines landscape, including regulatory trends and emerging risks.Why Wotton Kearney?At Wotton Kearney, we''re not your typical law firm.
