Job Description

Lead College is seeking energetic, motivated, confident and outgoing Trainer and Assessor to provide a high standard of delivery and assessments to aspiring international students for the following qualification:CHC Diploma of Community ServicesTraining location is in Parramatta and Windsor. The available positions are for trainers/ assessors who will be assigned student groups that will be timetabled according to the training plans and availability. Duties include but are not limited to:e-learning platform (aXcelerate) learning for studentsVisit student workplace for training and assessmentsConducting, marking and recording student assessmentsProvide student supportMaintenance of all aspects of compliance related to working in the VET environmentSupport students through work placementsInvolve in assessment validation and moderationAssist to develop quality trainingTelephone and email supportReview/evaluate training programsReview/evaluate assessment processes and modifyDevelop resources / upgrading and keeping resources abreast with changes in the industryAbout youYou are well presented, self-motivated individual who is bright and enthusiastic with exceptional interpersonal skillsYou have previous experience in education/training based role and/or experience in the relevant industryYou have excellent presentation skills; including a positive and professional work mannerYou have the ability to priorities work, meet deadlines and work accurately under conflicting time pressuresYou are flexible in the hours you can work; evening and weekend work is requiredYou have or/are willing to obtain Police Check and Working with Children Check (can be organised prior to commencing employment)Knowledge of the industry Training Package and guidelines for Community Services packageNecessary qualifications:Certificate IV or Higher QualificationCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) including LLN units or higherRelevant/current industry experienceKnowledge of AQTF, ASQA2 + years practical work experience in the field you deliver trainingA national police check (issued within the past 12 months)First Aid and CPRPlease send current resume, application letter that addresses all the Essential Criteria.Note: A current driver license and own transport is desirable for this role.PLEASE NOTE: Only short listed applicants will be contacted.Job Types: Part-time, CasualApplication Question(s):Do you have a valid Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122/TAE40116) or an equivalent or higher qualification, or are you willing to obtain one?Work Authorisation:Australia (Required)Work Location: In person
