This role combines hands-on coaching with team leadership, driving PT recruitment,development, and performance to ensure members receive world-class training experiences whilePTs build successful and sustainable businesses.The PT Manager will create a high-performance, people-first culture that aligns with AFC''s valuesand contributes to the overall success of the Harpley club.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team DevelopmentRecruit, onboard, and mentor a team of Personal Trainers.Provide regular coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities.Foster a supportive and performance-driven team environment.PT Department ManagementDrive PT performance across revenue, retention, and service standards.Monitor PT business health and provide support in lead generation and client acquisition.Ensure all PTs comply with AFC policies, safety protocols, and industry regulations.Member ExperienceSupport the delivery of exceptional PT sessions, small group training, and onboardingprograms.Collaborate with the Club Manager to align PT services with club growth targets.Lead from the front with PT delivery to model excellence in service.Deliver minimum of 20 x PT sessions per week.Commercial & Operational PerformanceMonitor and report on PT metrics (sessions, revenue, retention).Implement initiatives to grow PT penetration within the club.Contribute to club-wide events, challenges, and community engagement initiatives.Skills and Experiences:Key Skills & AttributesProven experience as a Personal Trainer, with leadership or mentoring responsibilities.Certificate IV in Fitness (minimum) with current First Aid/CPR.Strong commercial acumen and the ability to drive business outcomes.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Passion for people development and a growth mindset.Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required.BenefitsCompetitive base salary + performance-based incentives.Complimentary Anytime Fitness membership.Structured career pathway through AFC (Regional PT Manager, Fitness Director, StateManager).Access to ongoing professional development, training, and events.Opportunity to shape and grow the PT department in a state-of-the-art club.Career Pathway AFCThis role is a gateway into AFC''s leadership pathway:1.
