About Us This is an exciting opportunity to work in our State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) who regulates three statutory insurance schemes in NSW. This role sits more specifically in our Scheme Design, Compulsory Third Party team who work to design, implement and monitor initiatives to improve scheme design, claims practices and outcomes within the NSW Compulsory Third Party Scheme. Your responsibilities will include:Provide expert advice on complex scheme design challenges, identify emerging issues, and develop evidence-based solutions to mitigate risks and resolve problems.Review and shape legislative and regulatory instruments to ensure effective interpretation and implementation of government and agency policy initiatives.Contribute to strategic frameworks that embed continuous improvement and innovation, driving best-practice performance across the system.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering collaboration in the development of regulatory design solutions and informed decision-making.Deliver high-level briefings and recommendations to senior leaders, offering technical expertise to support policy development and implementation across functions.Develop and sustain collaborative networks with internal and external partners to support regulatory outcomes.Lead and manage a high-performing team, aligning resources through coaching and professional development to deliver priorities and enhance the employee experience.
