Hutchison Port Holdings brings 40 years of experience in the ports industry.As part of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting all systems and equipment within the engineering department as well as participating in the development of HPA automation requirements across all of its terminals. Duties also include but are not limited to:Responsible for the performance of the automation equipment within the O&M BudgetAssistance with maintenance and improvement of facility and equipmentIdentifying, evaluating and developing the automation requirements with the project technology team from Hong Kong as well as providing input on the automation aspects of the projects of HPAAssist with the terminals'' automation and technology layout and designAssist with the assessment of systems designed and installed by equipment suppliers as requiredThe successful candidate will have:Degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics engineering or related disciplinePLC programming for both issue resolution and modification, SCADA and VSD configuration skillsIdeally 5 or more years of experience in an engineering role with automated equipmentAbility to hold and maintain the relevant high risk license / licenses and trades qualifications as requiredCollaborative culture and team orientated individualStrong verbal and written communication skillsHigh level of safety awareness, compliance, leadership and commitment to safety practicesHold and maintain current driver''s licenseMust have ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlinesAbility to work full time in Australia and obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)It would be desirable if the candidate has:Experience in fully automated and or high speed production environmentExposure to labour and contractor management experienceAt Hutchison Ports, we believe our people are our greatest strength.
