Your OpportunityCSL Seqirus are hiring multiple Mechanical Technicians (Fitter) at our new state of the art site in Tullamarine, Melbourne. This world class 28,400 square metre facility includes clean-rooms, office and manufacturing space to support the production of influenza vaccines and critical antivenoms for Australia and other markets.You will be working on a rotating 12-hour shift pattern including both morning and night shifts to support 24/7 production. Overtime, shift loading and allowances paid as part of EBA.In this role, you will conduct preventative maintenance tasks, inspections, corrective and breakdown maintenance on automated machines at our world class manufacturing facility.Your RoleReporting to the Mechanical Coordinator (Engineer), you will possess experience conducting preventative maintenance tasks, inspections, corrective and breakdown maintenance on production, utility and supporting equipment.Overhauling and maintaining production and utility equipment.TIG stainless steel welding and Lathe and Milling machine workWorking with Microsoft software packages and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Working to GMP principles and an appreciation of aseptic processes and techniquesYour Skills and ExperienceQualification: Certificate 3 Mechanical Engineering trade or Indentured Certificate as a Fitter & TurnerProven experience in the maintenance and operation of production equipment and expertise in fault diagnosis and corrective actionExperience within a regulated GMP environment in the Pharmaceutical or food manufacturing would be an advantageAn understanding of aseptic techniques and work traceability standards is highly desirableYou are highly motivated and enjoy utilising your initiative to solve complex mechanical related problemsStrong commitment to Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental standardsIn this role we offer:An attractive remuneration packageAllowances and overtimeOn the job development and trainingAccess to an Employee Share Plan which allows employees to buy CSL shares at a discounted rateOnsite facilities (parking and cafeteria)How to ApplyPlease submit your application including your resume in one document.If you''re a passionate to shape the future of biopharmaceutical manufacturing, we''d love to hear from you.#LI-Onsite
