Job Description A Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant at Summerset is more than just a cleaner.You''re a quiet hero behind the scenes keeping our village fresh, homely, and dignified for the people who live here.We''re looking for hardworking, caring Housekeeper/Laundry Assistants to join our warm and welcoming Cranbourne North village team. This role is all about making sure our residents feel comfortable, safe, and truly at home.As a Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant, you''ll be a key part of creating a clean, uplifting, and homelike environment for residents, their whnau, and fellow team members.Your day-to-day activities will include:Ensuring high-quality cleaning across resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, laundry, and kitchen facilitiesLaundering, folding and returning residents'' clothing and linens with care and attentionLabelling, mending and maintaining residents'' personal laundry itemsSupporting infection control measures and health and safety proceduresBuilding friendly, respectful relationships with residents and understanding their unique needsYou will be working Monday to Friday between the hours of 6am - 2pm or 7am - 3pm.This role will commence on the 16th March 2026 and will start with 2-3 week of full-time training, Monday - Friday.Pleaseclick hereto view the full job description.
