About the Role We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our product-led organization, working closely with our Product Management and Engineering teams. This role is critical in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring our product development follows agile best practices while delivering exceptional value to our customers in the eDiscovery, Investigations, and Data Governance domains.Key Responsibilities Analysis & DocumentationCollaborate with Product Managers, stakeholders, and customers to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirementsTranslate complex business needs into clear, actionable artefactsConduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement gathering sessionsPerform gap analysis between current state and desired future state Agile Product DevelopmentWrite comprehensive user stories with clear acceptance criteria following industry best practicesDefine robust Definition of Done (DoD) criteria for development, QE and documentation teamsParticipate actively in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and story estimation sessionsFacilitate triad sessions with Product Manager, Developer, and Tester Technical CollaborationWork closely with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility of requirements from a product lens, using customer personas and user experience thinkingParticipate in technical design discussions and provide business contextSupport engineers during development by clarifying requirements and resolving ambiguitiesValidate technical solutions against business requirements Process Improvement & Quality AssuranceConduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate with QA teamsIdentify opportunities for process improvements and automationMaintain traceability matrices linking requirements to test cases and deliverablesSupport go-to-market activities by providing detailed product knowledge Stakeholder ManagementBuild and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholdersFacilitate communication between business and technical teamsPresent findings, recommendations, and project updates to leadershipAct as a subject matter expert for business processes and requirementsSkills, Knowledge and Expertise Education & ExperienceBachelor''s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field5-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technical product environmentProven experience working in agile/scrum development methodologies Technical SkillsProficiency with requirements management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Aha)Experience with process modeling tools and techniques (BPMN, flowcharts, wireframes)Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)Familiarity with API documentation and technical specificationsExperience with data analysis and SQL queries (preferred) Agile & Product SkillsExpert-level ability to write user stories with clear acceptance criteriaDeep understanding of Definition of Ready and Definition of Done conceptsExperience with story mapping, backlog management, and sprint planningKnowledge of agile estimation techniques (story points, planning poker)Understanding of product discovery and delivery frameworks Core CompetenciesExceptional analytical and problem-solving abilitiesOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsStrong facilitation and workshop leadership capabilitiesAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teamsDetail-oriented with strong organizational skills Desired ExperienceDomain KnowledgeBackground in eDiscovery, Legal Technology, Investigations, or Data GovernanceExperience with enterprise software licensing models and compliance requirementsUnderstanding of cloud computing and SaaS platforms Advanced SkillsExperience with business process automation and workflow designKnowledge of data privacy regulations and security requirementsFamiliarity with customer journey mapping and user experience designExperience with A/B testing and product analytics tools Key Success MetricsQuality and clarity of user stories and acceptance criteriaReduction in development rework due to unclear requirementsStakeholder satisfaction with requirement documentationSprint velocity improvement through effective backlog managementSuccessful delivery of product features within scope and timelineBenefits We strive to make any required adjustments where possible to make the process fair and equitable for everyone.
